Inspired by the Vision and Mission of our Founder, Servant of God Silvio Pasquali and emulating his missionary zeal, the Congregation began its Missionary activities in Tanzania, East Africa in September 1994 in order to spread the Light of Christ to all the people of goodwill, and to empower people through different apostolic activities. In fact, the birth of CSA Mission took place by the daring initiation of the then Superior General Mother Eliza Gopu in collaboration with the Society of Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel.
Understanding the situation and the dire need of education to empower people, in the year 1999, under the able leadership of Mother Regina Singareddy, the Congregation opened its first Community in Rujewa, Tanzania and St. Ann’s Primary School with hostel facilities. Three years later, at the request of the Bishop of Dar-Es-Salaam, the second community and St. Ann’s School was started in the year 2002 at Mbezi Louis, Dar-es-salaam to cater to the educational needs of the children of the area and to assist in the pastoral activities of the Parish.
In the year 2011, the Congregation opened its third community in Mafinga with St. Ann’s school and also opened the formation house in the year 2012. Later, on 18th December 2017, the Formation of the candidates was shifted from Mafinga to Morogoro and the first profession of Sr. Pauline Emmanuel Miho, the first local candidate was solemnly celebrated. A Second formation house is built and inaugurated for the initial formation of the candidates at Kibaha on 17th January 2020.
