The Mission that Jesus gave to the Church is to evangelize all (Mt. 28:19; Mk.16:15). It indicates that beneficiaries of evangelization are all human beings without exception. “Christ died for all” (2 Cor. 5:15) He wants everyone to be saved and reach full knowledge of the truth. In order to fulfill His mission on earth, He chooses few “to be with Him and to be sent out to proclaim the Good News” (Mk.3:14) .
Our Father Founder Servant of God Silvio Pasquali listened and responded to the call of God. His response was total and unconditional that made him to take the daring step of being a Missionary in India. His farewell address in his perfect missionary style: “We shall meet again in Paradise”, shows his total detachment from his homeland and his great hope in eternity. Seeing the barren conditions, and superstitious practices of the people, he expressed his heartfelt agony in these words: “The sole reason for my agony is that many are groping in the darkness of ignorance of Christ”.
Being faithful to our father Founder, Evangelization and Catechesis has taken the important place in the life of CSA. In every school, catechism is taken to the catholic children and on Sundays in the parish. As Christ responded to concrete conditions and needs of His listeners by feeding the hungry, curing the sick and preaching the Good News, the sisters of CSA are trying to respond to the felt needs of the people to whom they are sent. Today with renewed commitment, the Congregation is trying to be true to its Charism: “Spread the Light of Christ”. The CSA, reminding themselves as scripture says: “How wonderful is the coming of messengers who bring Good News” (Rom. 10:15) Evangelization Commission arranges camps to the surrounding villages, named, “Visvasa Vikasa Sabhalu” to renew the faith of the people.
Another challenging step taken for the proclamation of Good News is the Construction of a ‘Centre for Catechesis and Evangelization’ – Replica of Holy Land in Eluru, West Godawari District where hundreds and thousands of people are spiritually benefitted and renewed. This replica of Holy land was constructed in memory of 150th birth anniversary of our Father Founder Servant of God Silvio Pasquali and to mark the centenary of the foundation of our Congregation and was inaugurated on 26th April 2014.
