The healing ministry of the Divine Saviour is a tangible proof of His incomparable love for the sick and the suffering and a sure sign of His kingdom established in our midst. He commissioned His disciples to do the same salvific Mission (Lk.4:49; 9:1-2, 11). Inspired by the Word of God, our Father Founder and the teachings of the Church, CSA has given due importance by expanding its medical mission. Today five of our sister doctors and a good number of sister nurses and administrators are rendering their generous service in the field of medicine in Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu States. As the saying goes, “Prevention is better than cure”, they give importance to preventive medicines in various dimensions, especially through its mobile medical schemes by reaching out to many quarters of remote areas. They educate the people for responsible parenthood and planned family through natural family planning. Special attention is given to the control and prevention of communicable and endemic diseases. They show them ways and means to cope up with the problems and needs of growing children.
Ophthalmology Department is opened in 2 hospitals giving free cataract operations to the poor and downtrodden people in villages. CSA opened its services to cater to the needs of HIV / AIDs patients in Cremona. The Congregation is convinced that the care for the sick is a noble profession where one is dedicated to the suffering humanity. In a situation where millions are in need of attention and help, contribution of CSA may look small. Sisters working in the Medical field are happy to contribute their share to the healing ministry of the Church and extend the compassionate love of Christ to the poor, sick, deprived, and downtrodden people through their humble and joyful service.
